In this context, telepractice has gained strength in recent months and was instrumental in the healthcare response to COVID-19. 

A survey by Sage Growth Partner (SGP) and Black Book Market Research, showed that 25% of consumer respondents had used telehealth prior to the current COVID-19 pandemic and 59% reported they are more likely to use telehealth services now than previously. According to the Global Market Insights’ report, the telehealth market is set to be valued at $175.5B by 2026. This certainly indicates the need for telehealth now and in the future.
